The Fishers-based technology scale-up is recognized again for its purpose-driven culture and workplace policies prioritizing work-life balance, team member health, and inclusion.

FISHERS, March 2, 2023 – Mobile reCell, the leading software-driven solution for corporate-owned IT asset recovery, today announced its recognition as one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in Indiana.

The annual statewide survey and awards program is designed to evaluate participating organizations and honor those with the highest levels of employee satisfaction and engagement in the workplace. This year’s list is made up of 125 companies.

“It’s an honor to have Mobile reCell named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana for the second year in a row,” says Ben Jones, Founder and CEO of Mobile reCell. “A healthy workplace culture is one of the most important aspects of being a great place to work. We strive to continuously improve our team member experience by building relationships with each other, providing professional development opportunities, and collaborating on initiatives.”

In 2022, Mobile reCell introduced a 12-week paid parental leave policy, expanded its company benefits to include flexible spending and dependent care accounts, announced the addition of long-term disability coverage at no cost to team members, and added Martin Luther King Day and Juneteenth as observed company holidays. These benefits—combined with existing policies—allow Mobile reCell’s team to maintain a quality work-life balance, prioritize their health, and feel supported and respected.

Companies across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Indiana.

The first part evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process, the Employer Assessment, was worth approximately 20% of the total evaluation.

The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process, the Employee Feedback Survey, was worth approximately 80% of the total evaluation.

The combined Employer Assessment and Employee Feedback Survey scores determined the top companies and final rankings.

“A positive work environment increases employee engagement and can greatly aid in employee retention—something on the minds of many businesses right now,” says Kevin Brinegar, President and CEO of the Indiana Chamber.

“More small companies made the list this year than ever before,” he adds.“With small businesses being the backbone of our state’s economy, it’s encouraging to see so many putting an emphasis on culture. This has a profound impact on the communities they serve.”

The final rankings for the Best Places to Work in Indiana will be announced at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, and then published in the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice® magazine after the event.

May 2023 Update: Mobile reCell ranks 31 of 72 small companies recognized as the Best Places to Work in Indiana.
